One suite, set up from the same tools

Each piece works on its own. Connected together they read the same signals, described once: the DBC you import into DashForge serves the display, the keypad and the analysis.

How it connects

The controller commands the powertrain on the first CAN bus. The display, the keypad and the power module share the second. From your desk you configure the controller, draw the display and read back the logs.

The products, by category

Dates are targets, not delivery commitments. Each product's status is the one it had on the day this page was updated.

The displays

Three formats, the same DashForge pages. You choose on the vehicle and what it has to put up with, not on features: those are identical.

Dash L

7-inch display

[PROVEN ON THE BENCH]Target Q1 2027

A 7-inch touch display that reads the CAN bus and shows the pages drawn in DashForge. Sealed housing and a motorsport connector. It runs today on the bench with its pages; it is not yet fitted to a vehicle.

Who it is for: Cars, club racers, workshop conversions.

Dash S

4-inch display

[RIDDEN]Target Q1 2027

final housing in progress

A display of about 4 inches in a light housing, with the same DashForge pages as the other formats. It has been our test motorcycle's display since September 2026, throttle calibration included; the final housing is in progress.

Who it is for: Eco-marathon, karts, light electric bikes and motorcycles, school projects.

Dash M

4 to 5-inch display

[IN DESIGN]Target Q2 2027

A 4 to 5-inch display readable in direct sunlight, in a sealed housing with a handlebar mount and two to four buttons, for vehicles that take rain and vibration.

Who it is for: Motorcycles, pit bikes, quads, race karts.

The vehicle electronics

What commands and what powers. Each part is set up in the same tools as the display.

Keypad

CAN keypad

[PLANNED]Target Q2 2027

An 8 or 12-key backlit pad that sends its presses on the CAN bus and takes its lamp states back from it. It is set up in the same tools as the display: you choose what each key does without touching firmware.

Who it is for: Replacing a handful of dashboard switches and lamps with one part and two wires.

Controller kit

Controller

[RIDDEN]Target Q3 2027

on a development board

You describe the vehicle, motor, inverter and the features you want; VCU Forge generates the firmware, builds it, checks it and flashes it. The controller has been running our test motorcycle since September 2026, on a development board: the dedicated circuit board is drawn and not yet manufactured.

Who it is for: Conversions, prototypes, club racers, and any vehicle whose control still has to be written.

PDM

Power module

[PLANNED]Target 2027 (beta)

A power distribution module that replaces fuses and relays with electronic outputs: each output is commanded from the controller or a keypad key, and reports its current on the bus.

Who it is for: Harnesses where you want the fuse box gone and the current on every line known.

The software

Free, and usable today. The cloud, for working as a team, is paid by the year.

DashForge

Software

[LIVE]Available

You import your DBC file, place gauges, alerts and buttons, and send the project to the display. Nothing is compiled into the firmware: a signal that changes is fixed in the editor. The desktop app is free and works offline; DashForge Cloud adds the browser editor, accounts and the team's shared projects.

Who it is for: Any team with a CAN bus that wants its own pages, without waiting for a supplier.

Software

[LIVE]Available

open source

The vehicle's logs open straight in the browser, without being uploaded anywhere. Synchronised graphs, laps by distance, map, calculated channels, and exports to MoTeC i2, MDF4 and CSV. The code is open and the app is free.

Who it is for: Teams that want to analyse their sessions without paying a licence per computer.
